We take a candid documentary style approach to capture the authentic moments throughout the day. By authentic we mean that we minimally pose and just document you having the best time while also being out of your way. A really common compliment that we get from our couples is that they didn’t even notice that we were there on the day. That’s awesome feedback because it means that they were able to enjoy their day unobstructed and we were able to film the truly authentic and candid moments while not drawing any extra attention to ourselves.
A lot of our couples are referred to us by photographers which we have worked with in the past. My wife is a wedding photographer, so my team know really well just how important it is to work seamlessly with the other vendors. We work with the photography team so that there’s none of the “ok, now let’s do that again for video” and so on.Your day will pass so quickly that it’s best to have those moments with your nearest and dearest than with the videographers (although we do love to hangout).
One of the questions in the questionnaire that we send out a month before your wedding day will ask if there were any specific wedding films or songs you vibe with, and that gives us great insight and creative direction to choose songs that you’ll love in your film. If you have a specific song that you want to use (and it’s legal & licensable) then we can accommodate this request too!.
Some parts of the ceremony and speeches will be edited into your finished highlight film. If they aren't in your highlight film, worry-not! Every word and expression in your ceremony and speeches are recorded from start to finish and then mailed out to you on a custom-USB so you can re-watch your ceremony or parent's speech many years into the future.
Yep! All of our collections include drone footage, cos’ it’s awesome. Drone footage gives your film a beautiful cinematic feel and brings another dimension to showcase the feel of your day.
The raw footage is literally everything our team recorded on the wedding day, and can be over a thousand files and a few hours of content. It would be like a baker giving you the ingredients to the cake without baking it. We have the raw footage as an optional extra if you have a hobby in professional editing (or baking) but for most, you would probably be fine without it.
